Taylor Swift Forgives Kanye West

TAYLOR SWIFT appeared to forgive KANYE WEST during her performance at the MTV Video Music Awards at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles last night (12th September 2010). Both artists performed separately at the ceremony, despite much speculation as to whether they would duet. West infamously interrupted Swift's acceptance speech at the VMA's last year, however, Swift seems to have put that behind her.
During her new song, 'Innocent', the 20-year-old country singer sang, "Some things you can't speak of, but tonight you live it all again. It's all right, just wait and see. Your string of lights is still bright to me. You're still an innocent". According to the New York Daily News, the controversial rapper was nowhere to be seen during the performance, but the track contained obvious references to last year's debacle. Swift's performance was greeted by a standing ovation from the star-studded audience.
West closed the ceremony with his new song 'Runaway', which contained expletive lyrics that were widely deemed to be condemning his own behaviour towards Swift, most notably, "You've been putting up with my s--- for way too long". The 33-year-old wore a red suit for the performance and was joined onstage by a number of ballet dancers.
